Bible College Survival Pack Update

Here's a shout out for Bub. He leaves some great comments but that's not what makes him famous. He won a SFLBC Survival Pack. Click over to God, Me & Poker for a pictorial journal showing him putting his gift pack to good use. When I saw it I laughed out loud, doubled over, in hysterics. Here it is, Mr. Postman.

Here's a shout for Dog Snob, who also won a Bible College Survival Pack. Lucky girl laid claim to a personalized "Wide Hips Increase Fellowships" hankie. With the nation in such financial upheaval you can imagine what it's like for her to have such a national treasure. She took some great pics, too. Venture over to What's In My Head... Interesting Candy.

Enjoy!!!

P.S. I'm making some changes to SFL. Thanks for your patience. As I'm sure you can imagine changing the template was a major undertaking. Beads of perspiration dot my forehead from all the concentration. So, tell the truth, do you like the green? Dan hates it. I don't. He had no real reason for hating it other than hating it. I reasoned, "I like it because my eyes are green so it all coordinates." Overwhelmed by my logic, he said, "Goodnight, My Green Eyed Goddess." Okay, I made that last part up, but still, he went to bed. Don't be afraid to side with him, even though he is wrong. And don't mind affirming my choice since I hold the purse strings on the give aways around here. Hint, hint.

I actually like the green, (although it looks more tanish on my computer). You wanna talk about beads of prespreation...I actually have to save everything on my sidebar before I change my layout, (since I use layouts from other sources). I get worried everytime that I'm gonna forget something.

Oh, and thanks Bub for reminding Stacy of me...it's nice to be remembered, (for something other then my bad spelling anyway) ;). I swear, I had more fun with that stuff then I have most others. I'm still chuckleing over that candy. Thanks Stacy :)

Just spent a weekend at a BC reunion. Coulda used a survival kit. Oh, wait. I did survive.
Green is great. Matches my eyes, too.

I think the ID Badges for SFLBC should have the same color.

I do like the layout. Much more of a relaxed feel to it.

I like the green! But, then, it's my favorite color, so I may be biased.

Also, very nice pic.!!

Green is also my fav. color, but this one's more of a pea-green and not much my taste....BUT, it's YOUR blog. That's the beauty of blogging....you do what YOU want with it! :)

I love green. Most of my walls are green. That looks more like hummas to me.

Not that I am anti-hummas. I used to be then I got all old and stuff so, yeah, looks great Stace.

I like the new layout, too. I'm so lazy, I didn't like having to curser down the horse to see your posts. I know, I'm a loser. The green is on the yellowish side for me, though, still nice. My glob is green, a darker green. Yeah, I meant to say 'glob'. Have you ever watched Corner Gas? It's a funny Canadian show. They had an episode where a guy was trying blog and nobody knew what a blog was, and kept calling it 'glob'. Anyhoo, like the new look.

the green works for me. it has the same shade as lark's vomit. but i wouldn't put a warning on the blog saying: WARNING: LARK'S VOMIT - your sales would plummet!

Rustypants-

The only thing I sell is crazy. Well, actually, I hand it out for free to the masses. I'm benovelent that way...

Stacy -

I say IT IS YOUR BLOG. If you want green... paint it green and all it a frog (rhymes with blog).

An Ode to Green (an acrostic)

God's favorite color is this.
Really, I mean it.
Everyone knows it is true.
Even your blog is holier.
Now that it is green.

I will be performing this live at PoetrySlam2K8.

(The last bit is untrue. I will actually be performing an excerpt from: Chumbawumba - A Tribute in Haiku)

Rick,
You flatter my blog with poetry. If I were more talented at poetery I would do one for your profile pic because it is cool.

Everybody look at Rick the Polonian's profile pic. Creative yet edgy with an anonymous flair. Nice backlighting. I like.

That's my real hair. Someone at church took the picture with a fancy camera.

Thanks for not calling me out on the Chumbawumba. I get shy with my haiku.
