Love Stinks or Happy Valentines Day

In anticipation of Valentine's Day I picked something out just for you! You'll have to deal with some Spanish subtitles but I think you'll be okay. Enjoy! Come back tomorrow to see what I did to Dan as a special "I Love You" surprise. There will be balloons and embarassment involved. Just saying.

  1. "Well I have a microphone and you don't so you will listen to every darn word I say."

    That is my motto.

Also I'm ditching my wireless mic for an old fashioned model so I can start telling people, "One more outburst and I'm going to strangle you with my microphone cord."

  2. I love this movie a ridiculous amount. Maybe it's because of the meatballs.

  3. Okay, I'll have to check back as you said "see what I did TO" as opposed to "see what I did FOR"... such a difference one little word makes!!!!

  5. After a series of several years' botched dates on Valentines day we decided to never celebrate a holiday mainly propagated by Hallmark and the floral industry. That's worked really well for us. My husband is relieved to be off the hook for the dreaded "If you loved me you would just know what I want" gifts that so many poor guys have to face all the time.

  6. I'm scared for tomorrow's post because balloons terrify me. Seriously. They are one of my "25 Things." So can you just tell us about it sans balloons?

  7. I don't celebrate Valentine's Day. I celebrate Arizona's birthday.

    Happy 97th AZ!!!

  9. The rough English translation of the Spanish subtitle for the line "love stinks" reads more or less as "love is sh*t". Just thought you may like to know ;)

  12. Saturday was also the feastday of Saints Cyril and Methodius. They were missionaries who translated the Bible into the slavonic language. If we sent cards for the occasion, would they have to be in slavish?

About the movie...my favorite part is the ending where Adam Sandler sings about getting old with her....nice!
